Our candle design embraces simplicity. Each candle is housed in sleek, translucent black glass chosen to complement a wide range of interiors without competing for attention.
I intentionally avoid decorative elements like dried flowers, crystals, or molded wax embellishments. While visually striking at first glance, these details often limit a candle’s ability to be burned and enjoyed as intended. My goal is for you to light your candle, let it burn freely, and experience the fragrance fully — without hesitation.
The only candles designed to be visual focal points are those poured into our handcrafted concrete bowls. These pieces are created to stand out while still delivering a rich, immersive scent experience.
Every design choice is made to ensure the candle remains both functional and beautiful from first light to final burn.
Our Wax
A Custom Wax Blend, Developed for Performance
All Aurora House candles are made using a custom coconut–soy wax blend developed to provide a clean burn, excellent fragrance throw, and a smooth finish.
This blend was chosen intentionally — coconut–soy wax allows fragrance to disperse evenly throughout a space without being overpowering, while also supporting a longer, more consistent burn.
Each candle is poured in small batches to ensure quality control and consistency. Because our wax is designed for performance, you’ll notice a strong cold throw, a steady melt pool, and a fragrance experience that remains balanced throughout the life of the candle.
Our Wicks
Carefully Selected for a Clean, Even Burn
Wick selection plays a critical role in how a candle performs. Every Aurora House candle is tested with wick sizes and materials chosen specifically for its vessel, wax blend, and fragrance profile.
Our wicks are selected to:
Promote an even melt pool
Reduce soot and mushrooming
Support a stable, consistent flame
This testing process ensures that each candle burns as intended — safely, evenly, and beautifully — without requiring constant adjustment or babysitting.
