From Flame To Function
Turn your jar into something beautiful, useful, and totally you
Glass too good to throw away? Here’s how to clean it up and reuse it — for drinks, storage, or modern decor.
Step-by-Step: Clean & Repurpose
Remove label
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the label and it should peel right off
Freeze overnight
Helps leftover wax shrink and release easily.Loosen the wax
Run warm water over the outside, then let it rest for a few minutes to let the glass come to room temperature. Then gently pop out wax with a wooden spoon. If you don’t let the glass come to room temp, it will likely break- BE CAREFUL!
(Tip: Hold the base — it’s thick and sturdy.)Remove the wick tab
Stuck? Soak in warm water + dish soap for 10–15 min, then peel off.Wash it up
Clean with dish soap and warm water.
(Dishwasher safe too, for a final sparkle!)
Make it Yours — Again
🍸 Use it as a cocktail or mocktail glass
Turn it into a mini plant pot
Desk organizer (pens, makeup brushes, etc.)
Catchall for jewelry, matches, or crystals
Espresso glass or iced coffee tumbler
A Quick Word On Safety
Only reuse the jar for drinking once it’s fully clean and wax-free.
Always check for cracks before using with hot or cold liquids.
We don’t recommend using the jar for food storage unless it’s been sanitized properly.
